Cookie Policy

Which cookies this site sets, which ones Google sets for advertising, and how to control them.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember something between requests — a preference, a session, or an advertising identifier. Cookies are not programs and cannot read other files on your device.

Cookies set by this site

This site does not set its own tracking cookies. The tool runs entirely in the browser, no account session is established, and no preference is stored on the server. If you block all cookies, the font generator will still work exactly as before.

Cookies set by third parties

Advertising is served by Google AdSense, which may set cookies in your browser. The main ones are:

  • Google advertising cookies — used to select advertising based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Duration is typically up to 13 months.
  • Google measurement cookies — used to measure ad impressions and clicks and to detect invalid traffic.
  • Consent-state cookies — record whether you accepted or refused advertising cookies, so the message is not shown again.

These cookies are set and read by Google, not by this site. We do not have access to their contents.

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Where the law requires it, a consent message appears before advertising cookies are set. You can accept, refuse, or adjust purposes individually. Refusing consent means you may still see advertising, but it will be non-personalised. Access to the tool is unaffected either way.

How to control cookies

  • Google Ads Settings — adssettings.google.com turns off personalised advertising across Google services.
  • Your browser — every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking third-party cookies entirely is the most effective single step.
  • Industry opt-out — aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu cover many advertising vendors at once.

Do Not Track

Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to it, and this site does not alter its behaviour based on that header. The consent mechanism described above is the supported way to control advertising cookies.

Changes

If the cookies used by this site change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
